My name is Dean Santarinala. I was born and raised in the Chicago suburb of Lincolnwood, Illinois and have lived there most my life. Now, I am in my early 20’s and a student at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, trying to work my way towards a degree in Electrical Engineering. I have always enjoyed art and drawing, and along the way I picked up a camera and fell in love with photography. Since 2006 I have been working professionally as a photographer in my free time, shooting primarily with Canon digital SLRs. I have worked as a photojournalist for the Daily Illini since 2008, as an editorial photographer for the University of Illinois Alumni Magazine, as a studio and wedding photographer for many happy clients.
